Michael Robinson LPCC-S

Michael Robinson LPCC-S is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Endorsement in the State of Ohio. He received his bachelor's degree in education from The State University of New York, Geneseo, and his master’s degree in counseling from New York University. Michael has over 30 years of therapy and therapy-related experience in Ohio, New York and New Jersey, including teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level. In addition, he has worked in community mental health as a therapist, supervisor and manager, and maintained a private practice in New Jersey and Ohio. Professionally, Michael’s areas of focus include adolescent, teens, young adults, individual adult therapy, family therapy, trauma focused therapy as well as behavioral issues, mental health advocacy and training.

 

Melinda Sponseller LPCC-S

Melinda Sponseller is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Endorsement licensed through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board, as well as a Licensed Clinical Counselor in the State of Kentucky. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Morehead State University and her Master’s from Xavier University. Melinda has 19 years of experience working with individuals, families and children in a wide variety of settings, including private practice, in-home work and public mental health facilities. Taking a cognitive and eclectic approach to therapy, Melinda specializes in working with individuals dealing with grief, anger, depression, anxiety, adoption and divorce, trauma, parenting and family issues, as well as provides Clinical Supervision.

 

 

Bobbie D. Leitner, MSW, LISW-S, ACSW

Bobbie D. Leitner, MSW, LISW-S, ACSW is a Certified Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with Supervisory Endorsement from the State of Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati. Bobbie also obtained a post-graduate fellowship in Structural Family Therapy at the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center. Bobbie has extensive training in the treatment of Eating Disorders and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Prior to joining Hyde Park Counseling Professionals, Bobbie has worked in Community Mental Health and at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in the Department of Psychiatry. Other specialty trainings include Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Couples Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness Compassion Focused Therapy for the treatment of Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Personality Disorders, and Relational Difficulties.

 

Mardi K. Fallon, Ed.D, LPCC-S

Mardi Fallon EdD, PCC-S, LSW is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Endorsement in the State of Ohio. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s degree in counseling from Xavier University, followed by her doctorate in counselor education from the University of Cincinnati. Mardi brings more than 30 years of experience to the field of mental health, working with both children and adults in a number of training and supervisory roles. Professionally, her interests and areas of expertise include special-needs children, adoption, foster care, trauma treatment, gender-identity issues, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, stress management, couples counseling and family therapy. She also has experience in the use of mindfulness and meditation in treatment, when appropriate.

 

Kevin Jamison, Ed.D., LPCC, LSW

Kevin Jamison, Ed.D., LPCC, LSW is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Social Worker through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board. He has over 12 years experience providing mental health counseling. Kevin received his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Cincinnati. He completed his master of education degree and a clinical counseling endorsement at Xavier University followed by his doctor of education degree with a clinical specialization from Nova Southeastern University. Kevin also holds licensure in the field of education with over 20 years experience. Professionally, Kevin’s interests and areas of expertise include children, adolescents, college students, adults, stress management, relationship issues and school issues. He combines his skill areas to plan and problem solve and he employs cognitive behavioral, goal setting and mindfulness strategies in his treatment approach.

Lauren Schrand, MSW, LISW-S

Lauren Schrand, MSW, LISW-S is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisor Endorsement in the State of Ohio. She received her bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University in Psychology and her master’s degrees in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati.  Lauren has over 6 years of experience in diagnostic assessments, crisis intervention, family counseling and individual therapy. She has experience working in home-based therapy, school- based therapy; medical social work, a psychiatric facility and community outreach as well the traditional office setting. Lauren applies her expertise in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, adolescent issues, relational difficulties and stress management.

Clinton Symons MA. LPCC

Clinton Symons MA. LPCC Clinton Symons is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board. He received his Master’s from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. Clinton has eight years of experience working with couples, individuals, families and children in a wide variety of settings, including private practice and public mental health facilities. Clinton draws from a range of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral, solution focused and mindfulness strategies. Clinton works with couples and individuals dealing with grief, anger, depression, anxiety, adoption and divorce, trauma, addictions/substance abuse, parenting and family issues.

Susan Conners MA. LPCC-S

Susan is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Endorsement from the State of Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from Ohio University and her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Texas Woman's University. Susan has thirty years of experience working with individuals struggling with stress and anxiety issues, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss ,marriage and family therapy as well as addiction concerns.

Brad Fittes LPCC

Brad Fittes, LPCC is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio. Brad received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counselor Education, both from The Ohio State University. Brad has 10 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in community mental health, addiction recovery and higher education (academic and career counseling). Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered Therapy (PCT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFBT) and Family Systems Therapy, Brad’s areas of interest include wellness, mood/anxiety disorders, relationship and family issues, academic/career concerns, addiction, athletic performance, grief and body image.

Frank Yux LISW

Frank is a Licensed Independent Social worker with Supervisory Endorsement for the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Frank has extensive experience working with families after 35 years in the Juvenile Justice and community mental health systems. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University Dayton and master degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. Frank has worked as a therapist in residential treatment, a family counseling unit and a community mental health agency. He is a trained Family Counselor in Brief Strategic and Solution Focused therapies. His area of focus is with both adults and adolescents in Individual, Family, Marital and Group treatment. He specializes in assisting families and individuals coping with the stress of daily life compounded by relational crisis, parenting challenges, trauma, mental health issues, abuse and substance abuse.

Helen Magers LPCC

Helen Magers, LPCC is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of Ohio. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati.  Helen has over 12 years of experience providing mental health counseling to adults, adolescents, and couples. She has experience working with those who suffer from PTSD and is trained in EMDR. Professionally, Helen’s areas of expertise are in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and effective communication.

HThomas Dillingham Jr.

Thomas “Tim” Dillingham Jr. MS, LICDC is Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor in the State of Ohio. Thomas holds a BA in Criminal Justice from Union Institute and University, MS in Criminal Justice/Forensic Psychology from Tiffin University, MS Certification in Addictions Counseling from Capella University.

Thomas has experience in therapy related services and addiction counseling. Thomas’s area of focus includes substance abuse counseling and education (individual and group), parent support group facilitation. He enjoys providing training for foster/adoptive parents, community groups, and addiction counseling/education associated with family members who are impacted by addiction. Thomas has worked in the community as a police officer, educator, substance abuse counselor, and Courts and Corrections Clinical Supervisor who specializes in counseling first responders with trauma and stress-related concerns.

Thomas’s treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, Transtheoretical Treatment Model (TTM), Stages of Change, and Mindfulness strategies.
